What S 8512C / A 9111C actually allows

Requirements

Accredited nationally recognized testing laboratory certification required.

Devices must include an anti-islanding mechanism to prevent back-feeding the grid during outages, and must comply with the New York Fire Prevention and Building Code. Law takes effect 90 days after the Governor signs it.
