How We Make Money

Simple Plug-in Solar is free to use. We earn revenue through affiliate commissions: when you click a link on our site and make a purchase, the retailer or manufacturer may pay us a percentage of the sale.

We participate in two kinds of affiliate programs:

• Affiliate networks, which manage relationships with many brands on our behalf — currently including, but not limited to, Impact, Shopify Collabs, and CJ Affiliate.
• Direct affiliate programs run by individual manufacturers and retailers of plug-in solar equipment.

Our partners change over time. We may join additional affiliate networks or direct brand programs at any point, and this disclosure applies to all of them.

How This Affects You

It doesn't change the price you pay. Affiliate commissions come from the retailer's marketing budget, not from an increase in your price. You pay the same price whether you come through our link or go directly to the retailer.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

You should assume that any outbound link from this site to a product or retailer is an affiliate link. Affiliate links open in a new tab and are tagged with a rel="sponsored" attribute in the page's HTML, and we place a short disclosure near product links and recommendations throughout the site.

Our Editorial Independence

We maintain strict editorial independence. Our product recommendations are based on:

• Value for money (price vs. performance)
• Customer reviews and ratings
• Suitability for different use cases
• Manufacturer reputation and warranty support

Commission rates do not influence our rankings or recommendations. We will never recommend an inferior product because it pays a higher commission, and no brand reviews or approves our content before it is published.

Prices, specifications, and availability shown on this site are accurate as of the time of publication and can change without notice. Always confirm the current price, specifications, and shipping terms on the retailer's own listing before you buy — the retailer's listing governs the sale.

Direct Product Sales

Every product we link to today is sold by a third-party retailer or manufacturer, not by us. If we begin selling products directly in the future, those listings will be clearly labeled as sold and shipped by Simple Plug-in Solar, and this disclosure will be updated.

Product Warranties and Support

We are not the seller. Warranties, returns, shipping, and customer support are handled directly by the manufacturer or retailer you purchase from. We provide educational information and links to products; your purchase agreement is with the seller.

FTC Compliance

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255, "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising." We disclose our material connections clearly, and near the links they apply to.
